If your LinkedIn feed suddenly seems to be nothing but fellowship webinar announcements, don't worry, you're not alone.
As recruitment season gets underway, many companies will be hosting webinars to share information about their programs and answer questions from prospective candidates. These sessions are a great way to learn more about different opportunities and hear directly from current fellows and program representatives.
Be sure to keep an eye on:
LinkedIn, e.g. current fellows' profiles (many will post/repost webinar announcements with registration links)
The IPhO website
University social media pages (Northeastern Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowship, RPIF, MCPHS Industry Fellowship, etc.), especially Instagram
A few recommendations:
Register early whenever possible
Come prepared with questions
Take notes on programs that interest you
Use these sessions to clarify anything you can't find online
While webinars may start to take over your calendar in the coming weeks, they are one of the best ways to learn about programs beyond what is listed on the brochure, get a better sense of each program, and make that great first impression (fellows will start to see your name and interest!).
