3. research fellowships

Get on a rocket ship. When companies are growing quickly and they are having a lot of impact, careers take care of themselves...if you’re offered a seat on a rocket ship, don’t ask what seat. Just get on.

1. pick a functional area

Functional area is a fancy way of saying department. There are fellowships in Clinical Development, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Regulatory Affairs, HEOR, and so on. You gotta pick one to focus on and pursue.

How do you pick a functional area without industry experience? Use the tricks from step 2 to read up then use LinkedIn to network and ask questions.

2. identify fellowships

The number of fellowships is growing every year. Keeping track of all the available opportunities is hard. The resources are a good start.

Go through the brochures, webinars, and campus events related to fellowships.

3. research companies

The investor section of a company’s website is a great place to start. Look at: SEC Form 10-K, Investor webcasts, Press releases, Equity Reports, etc.

Search Endpoints News and Fierce Pharma for recent stories on the company.
